We having a very hard time making media representations visible in the Mirador viewer. This is an issue both in Providence and Pawtucket, so we aren't sure if this is media display configuration issue. Tile images and thumbnails are visible, but trying to view a larger image just results in a black display screen. There doesn't seem to be anything different from these images in Providence from other images that are visible, and our developer has tried media reprocessing media to no avail. He suspects it is an issue with Mirador. I am not sure whether you can do anything about Mirador issues specifically, but we are stuck and any assistance on your end would really help.
It is not consistent, either. Not every media representation using Mirador has this issue, but most do. In addition, a media representation not showing in Providence, may be displayed in Pawtucket, however in most cases it is using the Universal Viewer (that may be a separate issue).
Windows OS, Mac OS, Linux servers, Providence 1.75, Pawtucket 2
Is there anything new happening with this ticket? Were you able to discern anything from the jquery errors?
If you resize the window after loading this blank viewer does anything change?
Yes! Resizing the window causes Mirador to load the image. Once the image loads, it remains even after returning the window to it's full-screen size.
The Github fix worked for Providence. We are still having issues with Mirador in Pawtucket, but I am investigating some more before I open another Jira ticket or post to the forum.
