Occurrence relation not working

On a user-defined screen with a occurrence relationship from object, editing the object, the following error message appears when trying to create an unfound typed occurence:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getScreensAsNavConfigFragment() on a non-object in /var/www/collaccmam/app/lib/ca/BaseQuickAddController.php on line 138

Have not been able to use related occurrences in objects at all, even if they are included in some relationships lists. The feature looks quite useful, so it would be great to make it work.

Well, this is embarassing, but I can't seem to find the way to edit occurrences or occurrence types. Probably an easy thing, but haven't been able to find it in the documentation either. Should say: there ain't no "user interface" enabled--or visible, for that matter--for occurrences in the quick add section. Every other type of data has at least one user interface listed.

It does warn you when there are no occurrence UI's defined. It won't warn you if there are no occurrence types defined because that's a perfectly acceptable configuration.

It doesn't warn. It does not show any occurrence UI. This is the edit UIs, quick add UIs look just the same.

That's preferences. If you attempt to navigate to edit an occurrence and there's no UI it'll warn you. Why don't you try to configure a UI and see what happens?

It did work, thanks. It's just sort of confusing, since everithing else comes configured right out of the box. Thanks a lot for the advice.
